CINDY HOWES is an award-winning radio host/producer who specializes in the intersection of music creation and consumption.
A staple at 91.3 WYEP, (PITTSBURGH, PA) for over a decade, Cindy was host of The Morning Mix for ten years and then the host of The Evening Mix, with a fast growing weekly audience. While at WYEP, Cindy conducted and produced hundreds of interviews with prominent and emerging musicians and noteworthy personalities while fostering the local Pittsburgh community.
She also helped grow the next generation of radio talent at her original station, 88.9 WERS (BOSTON, MA) at Emerson in her hometown of Boston. During lockdown in 2020, she paved new digital paths at Club Passim, the historic folk club in Harvard Sq, Cambridge. As their marketing manager, she pioneered Passim's online streaming presence and spearheaded a movement to financially benefit musicians in the community with The PEAR Fund.
Currently Cindy is a senior host and assistant music director at FolkAlley.com ,an online and syndicated stream of folk, americana, bluegrass, and multi-genre roots music.
